Introduced in 2014, Beyond Rose is a spicy, balsamic addition to Clinique’s line. It gets its namesake scent from middle notes of both rose oil and rose absolute. Top notes include mate leaf, which is used to make a beverage that’s traditional in South America, and white pepper, which lends the fragrance a sharp twist that sets it apart from other run-of-the-mill floral perfumes. This clean, sophisticated scent is rounded out with base notes of amber and labdanum.
